hold on:
the night started with my friend, Sandra (see previous entry), at a local bar for one drink. then joey and i headed over to 'r' bar for homo night. now don't get me wrong...i like acoustic guitar as much as the next tree-huggin' freak, but is it really the music for a gay night? somewhere between styx's 'come sail away' and the dixie chix rendition of some stevie nicks song, lil' kenny arrived -trashed- and put an end to the sucky music situation. while outside smoking a cigarette (in the rain) this person/man/boy was coming to the door. totally recognized him even though i hadn't seen him in years. forgot his name, but introduced him to joey none-the-less as someone who lived near me when i lived on 2nd srteet. i think the exact response that came out of this person's mouth was "i didn't live anywhere near you." thank goodness i really don't believe in social blunders...i just brushed it off with a "oh - i must be confused." later, he reminded me what his name was, which was nice because then i could introduce him to joey and my friends. i'm still unsure of our past - i know i met this kid when i first moved to nyc - so many things happend that summer it is really hard to tell. the one person i hate in my neighborhood was there (mind you all - it's rare that i hate someone...i'm really not that kind of person) i couldn't do anything but wish terrible things on him...like... I hope Daniel gets adult onset acne more later
