We were so mega-bored that in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday we ventured out to the local gay bar, Metropolitan's. When we arrived and saw that the place was empty except for four drunken lesbians - I knew we had made a mistake. I would have been less bored at home. No one else showed up until we were already too far-gone to make friends.

Also, now that we are not allowed to smoke indoors, every time we wanted to have a cigarette we had to crouch under the partial awning to try and smoke - and - since we are not allowed to take our drinks outside the bar we were unable smoke and drink at the same time. Not being able to do both at once is extremely annoying.

It's not fair.
